Minor Surgery
Minor surgery involves procedures that are performed in clinic setting under local anesthesia. These surgeries help to treat various medical conditions with minimal risk and recovery time. At Greenhealth, we are equipped with the equipment for various minor surgery.
Laceration / Cut / Wound
Toilet and suture is a minor surgical procedure performed to manage wounds, particularly lacerations. The term "toilet" refers to the cleaning and debridement (removal of foreign material and dead tissue) of the wound, while "suture" refers to the stitching or sewing together of the wound edges to promote healing. This procedure is crucial for preventing infection, minimizing scarring, and ensuring proper wound healing.
Incision and Drainage
Incision and drainage (I&D) is a medical procedure performed to treat various conditions, most commonly abscesses, boils, or infected wounds. It involves making a small incision in the affected area to allow the pus or fluid to drain out, relieving pain, reducing inflammation, and promoting healing.
Ear Wax Management
Ear wax, or cerumen, is a natural substance produced by glands in the ear canal to protect and lubricate the ears. While ear wax usually migrates out of the ear canal on its own, sometimes it can build up and cause discomfort, hearing loss, or infection. Ear wax management involves methods to safely remove excess cerumen and alleviate associated symptoms.
Nail Surgery
Nail surgery are usually performed for ingrown toenails, fungal nail infections, trauma and other nail disorders. There are various forms of nail surgery for different conditions and they are usually performed under local anesthesia.
Joint Injection
Joint injection involves injecting medication into the affected area to reduce inflammation and pain, allowing the affected joint to recover and move normally. The procedure is typically performed in a clinic and is a good alternative for treatment without surgery. The most commonly done injection are trigger finger injection and tennis elbow injection.
